headshot-edit-33-15-1-of-1Want to know an interesting tidbit about me?

I have to confess…I have not always been an organized person. Yes. It’s true.

In fact, when I told my mother that I was going to start an organizing business, she reminded me of the days when I was a kid and how I used to shove everything that was on my bedroom floor under my bed and call my room organized. Could I find anything? No. Was I really organized? No.

Thankfully, organizing is a skill that can be learned. I’m living proof! And you can be too.

As an adult I appreciate being able to find things easily and being organized because I find that when I have control of my stuff, life becomes much, much easier.

I know what you’re going through because I’ve been there too. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve tried to find something, and ended up ripping through a drawer like a tornado only to leave a bigger mess than what I started with!

But what I found is that when I made the choice to be organized, out of the chaos came order. From there not only came happiness, but an awareness that life can provide your heart’s desire if you make room for it.

What I also felt was a sense of empowerment. And how great would it be to help other people feel empowered too? Plus I get a kick out of sorting and categorizing (my friends think I’m nuts because I love sorting and folding laundry…).

And if I can make my space so that I can function better and be more productive then I am able to make room for what matters most. My family. My friends. My hobbies and my interests.

Easy Peasy Organizing offers a step-by-step approach, provides organizing solutions, sets up simple organizational systems that make sense to you, among a whole lot of other things.

But do you want to know the best part?

In saving people time when they are looking for things,  I make lives easier.  And then an amazing thing happens… People get their lives back.

So it’s really not about the services I provide… it’s about what the services result in for my clients which is why I love what I do.

“Working with Sarah has changed our lives. Our family space was overflowing with memorabilia and stashes of disorganized papers. Sarah’s approach is helpful and supportive. She is focused and patient. After our first three sessions, four high-traffic areas have a whole new feel, and I am much more effective at getting my work done in our new space.”  Cindy P. Etna, NH

I’m a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and a member of the Greater Manchester, NH Chapter. As a member of NAPO I adhere to the code of ethics and know the importance of confidentiality. I hold a BA in Sociology from Hobart and Williams Smith College located in Geneva, NY.

When I’m not busy organizing for others I manage my own busy household and so I totally understand the benefits of staying organized while being a mom, a wife, running a business and enjoying life all at the same time!
